It’s been a long time!

I am sorry it has taken me so long to write some more on the blog!  It has been an amazing last few months!!!!!!  Miraculus!!!!!! Incredible!!!!!!!!!!!!!  God has blessed us beyond our hopes and dreams… so I have been distracted a little bit.

First of all in April I went on a trip to China with my brother to meet his wife and daughter.  It was a wonderful trip.  I got to see all sorts of things and try new things out as well.  Food was hard for me but when I came back I was at my goal size!!!

Yes!!!  I made it to my goal size by the beginning of April.  It was amazing…. and so wonderfull!  A size 8!!!!  That was something I could hardly believe.  I was really happy to be able to go in to any store and be able to try on clothing.  What a blessing.  I did feel really nauseous though while I was in China and afterwards.

 I figured that maybe I overloaded on glutens there or that I had some food poisening or something.  We found out later in the month that Chris’s grandfather had passed away.  I was still nauseous and was starting to feel a little bloated and not bleeding.  So just in case, I went to the store and bought a pregnancy test….to cheer Chris up.  We had almost given up on the idea of having a child but we were going to give it one last try starting this June.

Well to our amazement, I was pregnant.  So I went to the doctor and they did an ultrasound.  Evidently the real reason I was nauseous in China was that I was a few weeks pregnant when I was there!  Praise God!!!

So now my weight has gone up a bit but I am still in my medium pregancy pants which makes me happy.  I am praying that I will be able to get off the extra weight quickly after the baby is born in December.  I am eating healthy and doing my best to exercise.

God is so good!  Who would think that only a year ago I was just trying to figure out what was wrong and get healthy and now all our hopes and dreams are coming true!  We’re having a baby! Here’s his 4th ultrasound picture.  Yes, it’s a boy.
